I don't normally get a day by myself. Today I had to run to the library so I decided to enjoy my little outing with out well, the littles. I went and purchased a coffee first thing. I got one of those Mocha's, the fancy kind with whip cream on top and all. lol. Next I went to the library and actually took my time. *gasp* I just checked out a book about gardening, 2 for the the kids, and Heaven is for real (yes, I'm a bit behind on the times). I also re-checked out Allegiant, because I haven't finished it yet. Next I went to the thrift store and found some really great deals on a maxi skirt for me. Life seemed pretty sweet this morning. I love my family, but sometimes its nice to have a little "me time". Doesn't sound like much, running errands to some, but if you have young children, you will totally understand. Believe me, it doesn't happen often.
This evening I talked to my FIL about our garden. I'm getting so excited about our garden this summer. I can't wait to start. We decided not to start our seeds. instead we will be buying our plants, and planting the seeds later. that way we will harvest different times during the summer. fresh- all summer long! He is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to this stuff. I'm such a novice, its nice to have someone who knows what to do. Last year we started our seeds. Now I have a list of what seeds to buy (best types) and we are also buying a few berry bushes to start.
